The Allgäu is a region with cultural gems and monarchical monuments. Whether on the Via Claudia in the footsteps of the ancient Romans to Kempten, the former provincial capital of Raetia. Or follow in the footsteps of the Wittelsbach dynasty from the Bavarian monasteries to King Ludwig's castles: it is the variety and diversity of the sights that make the Allgäu so special.
