You should definitely try it!

An absolute classic from Bärbel's kitchen and just the thing for the Christmas season when you don't want Christmas stollen.

Ingredients:

  • 750 g apples ( Boskop ) peel and dice 0.5 cm
  • Add 200 g sugar } and leave to infuse overnight
  • 200 g ground hazelnuts
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 ½ sachet baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. Cocoa
  • 1 Tel. Cinnamon
  • 15 g gingerbread spice
  • Salt
  • 200 g raisins
  • 0.1 l rum } leave to infuse overnight

Mix all the ingredients together the next day, the dough should be a little sticky, and place in a loaf tin. Bake at 160 °C for approx. 75 min.
